How much does it cost to clean my home?
We offer a flat rate and hourly prices:
Our flat rate pricing takes into account how long it will take to clean your entire home based on the size (square footage ) and the number of bathrooms. Simply select the square footage and bathrooms at the time of booking, along with any additional services required and you’ll see the exact price instantly.
If you don’t need a full house clean or have a unique situation, consider using our hourly rate instead. Our hourly cleaning is perfect to customize the cleaning to certain areas in your home so that you can have your home cleaned exactly how you want it.

What is included in a standard cleaning?
A Standard Cleaning is ideal for homes that are well maintained and show no visible accumulated dust and grime. It’s perfect for maintaining the cleanliness of your home with a regular service or after a Deep Cleaning or Spring Cleaning. If you have not had your house professionally cleaned in the last two months, it is best to get a deep clean to make sure your home will be looking great then sign up for Standard Cleaning thereafter.

Do you bring your own cleaning supplies, products and equipment?
We bring our own cleaning supplies, so you can just sit back and relax! Let us know if you have any special requests and we’ll be more than happy to accommodate these where possible. Similarly, if you would prefer that we don’t use certain products, please let us know at the time of booking.
Can I request special tasks or extras?
Of course! Additional services can be added at the time booking, but if there’s anything not covered that you’d like, simply reply to the confirmation email or log into your account and add comments to let us know what you’d like added to your service.
What is in-Home Time (Labor Hours)?
The given time to clean your home is based on labor hours. We work in teams of one or two cleaners when more than one cleaner is assigned, the time gets divided between cleaners sent.
E.g. if you booked four cleaning hours and two cleaners are sent to clean your home, the four hours will be divided by two cleaners for a total of two in-home hours.

How do I create a Hello Maids Account?
When you book your first service an account is automatically created for you. Simply set up your account, choose your password, and you’re ready to go.
How do I change my address?
Log into your account and update your address in your upcoming booking. Alternatively, you can give us a call and we will update your address for you.

Can I apply a coupon to an existing appointment?
I bought a voucher and would like to redeem it, what should I do?
If you have purchased hourly cleaning, we can only guarantee that your cleaner(s) will stay for the specified amount of time. We may not be able to complete all tasks if time runs short. Therefore, if the problem involves the time needed to complete the cleaning service rather than the quality of the service itself, we can only correct the problem if you purchase additional cleaning time.
No Risk booking policy for hourly cleanings
On a first time cleaning, or if it has been over a month since the last cleaning with us, the cleaning will be charged by the hour. For hourly cleanings, the cleaners work from a written list of priorities provided by the client and get as much done as possible. Priority lists are typically completed via email. We encourage our clients to over-book rather than under-book the number of hours for a first time or occasional cleaning. There is no risk in over-booking, because we only charge for the amount of time it takes to do the cleaning. We only have a 3 hour minimum. The risk in under-booking is that the cleaning may only be partially completed, and our schedule may not allow us to stay longer. Please be as specific as possible on your priority list to ensure your cleaning is fit to your needs.
Payment is due in full at the time of service.
Hello Maids accepts major credit cards, debit cards, cash, or check.
A $35 fee will be charged for each returned check.
Our office is closed on all major holidays. Many of our cleaning staff still work on major holidays, excluding Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Day. If no one is available to perform your cleaning on a holiday, we will email or call you to reschedule at least one week prior.

Can I trust my cleaning professional?
Yes! All of our maids are thoroughly bonded and insured up to $2,000,000. Our professionals undergo a rigorous screening and verification process in accordance with local, state, and federal laws – as well as in-person assessments. To ensure a consistently high-quality performance, our maids are also evaluated on an ongoing basis. Be assured, you’re in good hands! Only a small percentage of applicants end up working at Hello Maids.
What happens if something goes wrong during my appointment?
We do understand that accidents can happen, and in the rare and unlikely event of an incident, our team is here to support you. Please call your local Hello Maids office and we will assist with finding a resolution. For ultimate protection and peace of mind, we recommend securing or removing any valuable or personal items prior to your appointment. Please be advised that our policy does not cover theft or missing items.
Is my billing information kept safe and secure?
Yes! Absolutely, the booking form is protected by an SSL certificate and 256-bit encryption. Your credit card details are processed by Stripe or Square which ensures all of your credit card details are encrypted and stored securely. Stripe and Square are a secure, SSL-encrypted, and PCI-compliant system. No credit card numbers are stored in our system and we do not have access to your credit card details. Rest assured we take security very very seriously.
What is your 100% satisfaction guarantee policy?
Hello Maids strives to provide outstanding cleaning services for our clients. If you are unhappy with any cleaning service provided, please notify us within 24 hours of service in order for us to address and correct the problem.
If we receive prompt notification, we will come back to examine the problem. If the problem involves the quality of service we have provided, we pledge to correct the problem at no charge and additionally provide one half hour of cleaning services at no extra charge to compensate for your inconvenience.
If we do not receive notice of a problem within 24 hours of the cleaning, or if you decide to correct the problem yourself, we will not be able to correct the problem for you nor will you be compensated for your inconvenience.
What is your refund policy?
We do not offer refunds on services that have been provided. We will however return and re-clean for any problems reported within 24 hours of cleaning.
Bookings are final and cannot be cancelled, refunded, exchanged, transferred, or changed. Any payment made will remain a credit on your account to be used towards a future cleaning and does not expire, subject to our cancellation policy, unless in the case we are unable to clean your home on the scheduled day.
From time to time Hello Maids may authorize a refund, less $25 booking fee, to a customer, but on a case by case basis. All refunds are issued to the original credit card on file, subject to our cancellation policy.
